MILES SHAW

MUSICAL COMEDY

DON’T DRIVE DRUNK

WORDS AND MUSIC BY
MILES SHAW

This 3 1/2 minute song (a blend of country/rock/gospel genre) humorously shows all the trials and tribulations of a guy who ignores advice given to him not to drive drunk. He gets arrested, has to hire an expensive lawyer, pays for car repairs, sees his insurance premiums increase, goes before a judge in court, avoids jail time with a warning, but then gets seriously injured in an accident caused by another drunk driver, gets taken to the trauma center, is wheeled off for emergency surgery, dies, and goes to heaven, where he then preaches the advice he was first given, “Don’t Drive Drunk”, as he leads a gospel choir of angels in heaven.

I’M A LAWYER

WORDS AND MUSIC BY
MILES SHAW

In this 3 1/2 minute song (hard rock genre), a lawyer, backed up by heavy metal musicians, proudly sings in 4 verses an entire overview of the law profession. And although the lawyer is conservatively dressed in a suit and is surrounded by a motley crew of mean-looking heavy metal headbangers, it becomes very clear that the lawyer is the scariest badass dude of the bunch. This song is a suitable “Anthem” for the legal profession.
